Roachburg opens a new era of Chinese original design

At the Roach Fort China 10th Anniversary Reception, the AVA chair as the “Rockburger WeChat Award” was created by Sichuan designer Song Wenzhong at the “2009 Rochburg International Home Design Competition”. The event aims to promote Chinese original design to the world. This post-modern AVA single chair follows Rocheburg's consistently eco-friendly design concept and was built in four years by Italian craftsmen. AVA chairs are sold from design awards to production, and then to the Rochburg boutiques in the world's first-tier cities such as Paris, London, New York, Milan, Madrid, etc., opening a new era of Chinese original design, the first design of Chinese designers. The results are flowering on a global scale.

The AVA chair has a simple, lightweight look and a smooth, sensory touch that can be unfolded or stacked, reflecting the flexibility and lightness of the AVA chair. The original design prototype of the curved chair is the Chinese Ming Dynasty cross chair. The Ming Dynasty cross chair is famous for its beautiful and smooth shape. Its chair ring curve is soft and flexible. The designer integrated the Chinese elements into the AVA chair. He referred to the original form of the back chair, but changed the basic proportion data of the chair in the design of the AVA chair, and used computer technology combined with ergonomic principles. The proportional parameter adjustment makes the shape more continuous and scientific. The AVA chair has no seams at the turn and is molded once, reflecting the advanced nature of modern abrasive casting technology.

The transparent AVA chair is made of polycarbonate and the opaque is polyurethane. Polycarbonate is colorless, transparent, heat resistant, impact resistant, flame retardant, abrasion resistant, and oxidation resistant. Polyurethane has the characteristics of high strength, good toughness, compactness and toughness. These materials have a transparent plastic feel, a metallic luster, and no paint contamination. They are environmentally friendly materials that can be reused.
