The structure of the indoor unit of the cabinet is generally relatively simple, similar to a rectangular parallelepiped, and is suitable for a honeycomb paper liner with a straight structure. The buffer thickness is generally 30mm to 40mm. There are two kinds of double U-shaped structures and triple composite structures.

Double U-shape, as the name implies, refers to two U-shapes, that is, a U-shaped underlay, and a U-shaped underlayment on the upper side is snapped into two phases to form a rectangular cavity with an air-conditioner cabinet. The structure has better compressive strength, and achieves the required buffering performance by adjusting the size of the bees and the way of paper distribution, and is mainly applicable to a straight machine. The improved U-shaped structure is a new type of structure that is produced on the basis of the double U-shaped structure to match the changes in the entire machine structure. Some cabinets are not nearly straight cubic structures, and may protrude more than others. Using a double U-shaped structure will result in high costs and excessive buffer protection. Based on this, two or more U-shaped cushions are used. The organic combination of the cover plate, the lower gasket, and the middle gasket achieves the protection function.

Note: The material properties and processing performance of the paper honeycomb liner are limited. The more parts used for buffering, the poorer the fitting performance, the more susceptible the product's protection performance will be.

Air Conditioner Outdoor Unit

The characteristic of the outdoor unit of the air conditioner is that the upper part is approximately a cube, while the lower panel has a protruding bracket in the width direction, and the front has a fan, and the end surface of the compressor protrudes, and the center of gravity is biased toward the compressor side. When designing, it is necessary to fully consider the ease of assembly process under the premise of realizing its buffer protection performance.

The buffer profile structure of the paper buffer of the outdoor machine is mainly divided into three parts: the upper part, the lower part, and the left-right part. Each of the three parts has its own emphasis. The underliner is loaded with the impact of the bottom surface of the air conditioner and the positioning function of the lower half, and requires a higher strength. Generally, a paper honeycomb liner and a paper-type steel are combined to form a tray-like tray with the entire machine. The bottom structure achieves cushioning and support.

For the lighter weight outdoor unit, the left and right cushions may not be used, and positioning and cushioning protection in several directions may be achieved through the cooperation of the structure of the lower cushion and the upper cushion.

Air conditioning hanging indoor unit

The underside of the on-hook indoor unit is generally a flat plate-shaped structure, while the surface frame is basically a special-shaped structure. There are two ideas when designing a cushioned packaging design using paper honeycomb liners. One is to mimic an EPS cushion liner using an internal cavity mold. The method of cutting forms an internal cavity that fits with the hook; the other is to completely ignore the complex external shape of the hook and use a straight rectangular cavity. Due to the low strength of the honeycomb liner, it is necessary to increase the strength of the paper angle guard to achieve local reinforcement in order to reduce the buffer thickness and reduce the package volume.
