USA: Boy invents best-selling toy
The eleven-year-old boy invented in the United States sold electrostatic stickers on building blocks. As he was too young, he could not participate in this year's toy fair, but his invention attracted many buyers at the show.
The boy, named Grayson McLean, invented a reusable static sticker. This sticker can be attached to a smooth surface toy like LEGO plastic blocks. Stickers are sold in more than 50 stores in 20 states in the United States.
McLean’s father, Matt McLean, said that some foreign retailers were “interested†with the sticker at the toy fair in New York last month.
McLean's set of 84 stickers, priced at 5.99 US dollars. The father and son used the cords in the basement of their home to work out web orders.
"I can hardly describe this feeling," McLean said. "When you hear someone order 15 products, you'll be excited."
