Ashland developed modified acrylic polyester resin

The Composite Polymers Division (CPD) of Ashland Specialty Chemicals, Dublin, Ohio, USA has recently developed an improved modified acrylic polyester resin under the trade name Polaris SS.
Ashland intends to apply these new resins to exterior surfaces such as kitchen walls that require a rust-proof and colored surface. CPD claims that Polaris SS resin is superior to traditional ceramic tiles and high-pressure laminate products in terms of anti-corrosion, anti-microbial, smooth surface, invisible joints, repairability and heat protection.
