1 box design
When designing the box shape, the main dimensions of the carton should be designed according to the requirements of the contents. Under normal circumstances, the size of the main body should be 2 to 5 mm larger than the outer diameter of the content, so that it can ensure that the product can be smoothly put in and out after being boxed, and it also meets the theme of today's social environmental protection-saving paper.
When the layout of the carton with the determined main body size is combined, appropriate consideration should be given to reducing the size of the clamping knife during the combination and changing the size of the relatively minor parts such as the glue and the box tongue to save paper and facilitate subsequent processing. According to the characteristics of our company's die cutting and paste box equipment, the author usually reduces the size of the clamping knife to 3mm, and the minimum width of the paste can be reduced to 8mm.
2 Print layout design
The design of the printing layout is closely related to the control of the die cutting process of the carton. Whether the design is clever determines the difficulty of the die cutting process to a certain extent. The best design should have both good ideas and easy printing and post-processing. For example, you should avoid designing products with extremely high requirements for plate connection, because in this case, as long as the paper is slightly deformed or slightly offset during die cutting, quality problems will occur.
3 Paper selection
When die-cut into boxes, we often find that the quality of some cartons does not meet our expectations, and there are often problems such as too soft cartons, insufficient strength, or insufficient carton squareness. The reason is usually that the paper we choose The quality requirements of the product are not met, or the thread direction of the selected paper is inappropriate. Only when the direction of the thread of the paper is perpendicular to the main processing line of the carton can a more square shape be obtained. For the products that need paper to be mounted or corrugated, it is necessary to ensure that the facial paper and the bottom paper are vertically crossed in the direction of the wire. For the mounted corrugated carton, make sure that the corrugated direction is perpendicular to the direction of the carton.
