Corrugated board adhesive strength determination method
I. Scope: This standard specifies the method for the determination of the adhesive strength of corrugated cardboard.
This standard applies to the determination of the adhesive strength of various types of corrugated cardboard.
Second, the reference standard
The provisions contained in the following standards are incorporated into this standard and constitute the provisions of this standard. At the time of publication, the editions indicated were valid. All standards will be revised and all parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest version of the following standards.
GB 450-89 Taken from paper and cardboard samples
GBT6546-1998 Corrugated board edge pressure strength determination method
GB10739-89 Standard atmosphere for sample processing and testing of pulp, paper and paperboards III. Test principle
Insert the needle attachment between the sample paper and the tissue paper (or between the core papers), and then pressurize the needle attachment with the sample so that it moves relatively until it is separated.
Fourth, test equipment
(1) Compression Strength Tester
Should meet the technical requirements of the GB6546 compression strength tester.
(2) Device for cutting sample
It should meet the cutters and requirements specified in GB 6546.
(3) Accessories
The accessory consists of the upper part attachment and the lower part attachment, and it is a device that applies uniform pressure to each adhesion part of the sample. Each part consists of a needle part and a support part that are equidistantly inserted into the space center of the corrugated cardboard.
The degree of parallelism between the pin attachment and the support should be less than one percent.
V. Sample taking, processing and preparation
(1) The sample is taken in accordance with GB 450.
(2) The sample is treated according to GB 10739.
(3) Preparation of the sample: 10 samples of 25 mm×80 mm were cut from the sample, and the orientation of the corrugation should be consistent with the direction of the short side. Sample size error is ±1mm.
Six, experimental steps
The test shall be conducted under the atmospheric conditions specified in the standard.
(1) Attach the test specimen to the attachment first and place it in the center of the compressor's lower platen.
(2) Turn on the compressor and apply pressure to the attachment with the specimen at a speed of (12.5 ± 2.5) mm/min until the peak is separated from the tissue (or core paper). Record the maximum force displayed, accurate to 1N.
7. The results indicate that the average value of all tests is calculated, and then the adhesive strength of the corrugated cardboard is calculated according to the formula (1): where: P—bond strength, N/m: F—the maximum required when all the samples are separated Force, N:L - dimension of the long side of the specimen, M.
Eight, test report The test report includes the following:
a. The number of this standard; b. Test date and place, test personnel, test unit stamp; c. Kind and description of the test sample; d. Test atmospheric conditions; e. Name, model of the instrument used; f Report test results to three significant figures; g. Analyze measurement errors; h. Other instructions related to test results.
