Hot chocolate fondue

　　 Designed for Cacao Noel Fondue au Chocolat's chocolate fondue, the new bag underwritten by Paris Gourmet in Carlstadt, NJ, won the Gold Award for Packaging Excellence for LPS Industry. This is a vertical bag with a zipper. The pattern on the outside is very attractive. There are three disc-shaped hot-melt chocolates inside, which can be kept in the bag for one year. Unlike other chocolate fondue in cardboard boxes, this heated ready-to-eat product is packaged in a colorful, red film pouch.

The material of this sealed package is a polyester/polyethylene (PET) structure, approximately 4.5 mils thick. LPS uses existing equipment to carry out rubberization, laminating and printing, and finally to form a set-up bag. A Uteco flexographic printing press is used to reverse print the polyester layer. The color includes four printing colors and two spot colors. After the microwave is heated or boiled, it can be served in the bag or poured into a pre-prepared bowl. The size of the bag is 7 x 7 inches, with a 1-inch top gusset and a 2 1/2 inch bottom gusset that can hold 10 ounces of product. After a minute in the microwave, the chocolate inside can be melted. Then, cool it for another minute and you can eat it. No need to stir or make other preparations.
