1. Gouache features

The gouache painting is made of opaque water-soluble siliceous ad pigments, which are characterized by its brilliant colors and strong hiding power. The thin painting method is similar to the watercolor painting, especially the dry brush strokes. Proper operation can often show the artistic effects of both oil painting and watercolor.

The basic color of high, medium and dark tone should be deeper than that required by the original, and the basic color should not be shallow.

The gouache copy should pay attention to white background and light color, and the middle mixed color and basic color level should be opened. When high-light highlighting and white background parallelism are required, the scan head is aligned with the white background, and the high steepness is used to make the net out and the distance between the two is pulled open. Mixing of the three primary colors tends to be deeper, contradicting with the basic hue, and aligning the mixed colors when the electrical points are calibrated, and reducing the dark tone level curve or increasing the dark tone setting density can be solved.

The cyan, magenta, and yellow color versions use extremely long tones (0% to 100%) to fully express the layer content of the painting. For gouache painting, especially the color tone of the reverse color is shortened. In this way, the maximum saturation of the ink can be used to fully reflect the brilliant colors on the screen. Increasing the amount of UCA can enhance the color reproduction of the dark tone and make the dark tone more vivid.
