SIG Cooperras exhibited Speed-Loc, the latest rapid die change technology for today's blow molding machines.
The system is designed to increase the production efficiency of the BLOMAX blower by reducing machine downtime and increasing die change time. Especially when the bottle mouth and preform remain unchanged, the mold change from producing one type of bottle to another. With the Speed-Loc die change system, the change time of each die was reduced from the original 4 minutes to within 2 minutes, which greatly improved the productivity of the blower.
