Schneider Packaging Equipment, an FANUC robot integrator, uses a FANUC M16iB six-axis robot with a load capacity of 20 kg to load empty plastic bottles into corrugated boxes. This robotic boxing robot has a great deal of flexibility. It can handle bottles of different shapes and sizes. It can also handle different sizes of cartons and different arrangement patterns to meet the needs of blow molding companies. It occupies a very compact space, but it has a versatile packing solution.

Schneider manufactures a series of traditional carton and pallet wrapping machines and robotic solutions. It also introduced robotic multi-line palletizing systems and robotic binning/stacking systems. Based on the use of a 5-axis robot, this integrated binning/stacking system can perform loading, labeling, scanning, and palletizing with one robotic arm. "This increases the degree of automation, while also ensuring a smaller floor space, and of course saving the factory space," explained Pete Squires, vice president of control operations at Schneider. The user-customized robot is flexible and can pick up and place items of various sizes, including boxes, bags, strapping bags, cans, bottles, and the like.
