â–¡Using the blade of the Baige knife itself, cross-cutting the plastic, metal coating, coating surface coating, and then covering the cutting surface with standard tape to remove the peeling of the coating surface.

â–¡ Mainly for the grid test of the adhesion of coated products, combined with the use of various test tapes, the coating ability of the various substrates and the bonding ability of the coating relative to the substrate are evaluated.

Instructions:

1. Squeeze the cutter head across the test sample, the cutter head scrapes off the surface coating (to the substrate), and then cross-cut at a 90-degree angle to form a cross-shaped cross-grid

2. Use a small cleaning brush to gently sweep away the debris from a 45-degree angle.

3. Tape sticking method is only applicable to hard surfaces: (Standard tape is sold separately)

● Tear the standard tape twice, and discard it.

● At a steady speed, tear off the standard tape of about 7.5 cm long, stick it to the area just cut and cut it, and gently press it with your fingers.

● Stable and tear the tape at a 60-degree angle in 0.5~1 second (the tape stays on the sample surface for no more than five minutes)

● Keep this piece of tape (the coating debris on the surface of the sample may stick to it), you can stick it on a transparent diaphragm and save it.

4. Examine the cross-cut lattice area and evaluate the adhesion of the coated surface. Please refer to the evaluation scale described later.

5. The same group of samples must be tested at least three times in different parts.
