Visual system brings real-time control

Thanks to the installation of a patented visual inspection system, the quality inspection of PET containers on Sidel blow molding machines does not have to be a guessing game.

Sidel's high-speed blow molding machine now houses the Intellispec BNS vision inspection system from Pressco. This visual inspection system is said to use the most advanced PET container detection technology available today, which can fully test 100% PET containers on Sidel's SBO blow molding machine. The detection range includes key parts such as the bottom, neck, sidewalls, and the top edge of the bottle mouth. Real-time inspection data is continuously collected and can then be provided to users of Sidel blow molding machines so that the production process can be continuously monitored and improved.
