Keyboard interface method: The data obtained by scanning the barcode is directly input to the computer via the keyboard interface. The advantage of this method is: No Printer Driver is required, the operating system is irrelevant, and it can be used directly on various operating systems without external power supply;
Serial port mode: The data obtained by scanning the bar code is input through the serial port. It needs to be driven or directly read the serial port data, and requires an external power supply;
USB interface: The data obtained by scanning the bar code is input from the USB interface, and some need to be driven without external power supply.

(6) Several reasons why the barcode cannot be read
· The function of reading this barcode is not turned on;
The barcode does not meet the specifications, for example, the lack of necessary blank areas, the contrast of the bar and the air is too low, and the ratio of the width and the narrow of the bar and the air is inappropriate;
· Direct sunlight, the photosensitive device enters the saturation zone;
· The surface of the bar code is covered with transparent material, and the reflectivity is too high. Although the bar code can be seen by the eyes, the collector has strict reading conditions and cannot be read;
· Hardware failure, contact your dealer for repair.
(7) On a laptop computer, the scanner of the keyboard interface is not working properly, or the scanner is working normally and the keyboard is not working
On a laptop, the scanner with keyboard interface is equivalent to an external keyboard. If the keyboard interface is connected to the keyboard, the possible changes are:
· The original keyboard is invalid. At this time the scanner is normal and the keyboard does not work
The keyboard of the laptop is normal, and the external keyboard does not work. At this time the scanner does not work
Solution:
· Automatically set the BIOS to make the external keyboard work
· Connect the keyboard interface scanner
· The scanner is connected to an external keyboard
· Or directly use the serial port or USB port scanner
(8) After reading a barcode, the scanner crashes
Due to the protection function of the scanner, if the read barcode data is transmitted incorrectly, it will automatically enter the protection state to prevent data loss. If the data that has not been successfully transmitted is read, the scanner can be used again. If this happens, please check the connection and protocol carefully. After confirming that it is correct, turn off the scanner, and then you can use it normally

· The gun laser scanner is moderately priced, with fast scanning speed and high accuracy, which is used in occasions with higher requirements;
The platform laser scanner is slightly more expensive and easy to use. It is used in occasions requiring speed and accuracy, such as high-end supermarkets
· The price of suspended platform is high, generally used in industrial field.

(11) How to set up barcode scanning equipment
