As shown in the figure, the PE layer/adhesive layer (the main component is PE)/EVOH layer/adhesive layer/PE layer is from the outside to the inside. Compared with aluminum-plastic composite pipes, all-plastic composite pipes have been widely used in developed countries such as Europe and the United States for their easier recovery and environmental protection. However, in China, this kind of plastic composite material with a high barrier layer has been deterred by many users because of its high price. It is reported that all-plastic composite pipes with EVOH barrier layers of the same capacity cost about 20% to 30% more than ordinary aluminum-plastic composite pipes.

The transparent all-plastic composite pipe also has a relatively high material requirement, because materials such as the inside and outside film and the barrier layer must have good transparency. The transparency of the EVOH barrier material itself is not good, and it requires a certain process processing at the time of production. It is reported that there are not many suppliers that can provide such transparent all-plastic composite pipes in China.
