Carton die cutting problem inventory - fringe edges
Die-cut edges flash
Deformation and dulling of the edge of the die-cutting steel blade cause rough edges on the die-cut line of the product. Due to the excessive pressure, the increasing number of die cutting, and the sediment content in the semi-finished products of the carton, the edge of the steel blade is easily deformed and dulled.
The poor quality of the steel knife, the lack of sharp edges and the poor adaptability of die cutting are all important reasons that cause the edge to be not smooth and the edge of the die cutting edge is fluffed. Should be based on the different properties of the die-cut print, use high-quality steel knife to improve its die-cutting adaptability. If there is no special requirement, try to use the steel knife with horizontal stripes. The sharp edge of the steel blade is worn out and cannot be replaced in time, so that the steel knife cannot work properly. The wear condition of the steel blade edge should be checked frequently. When it is found that the wear is severe and the die-cut quality is affected, a new steel blade should be replaced in time. When the die-cutting pressure is adjusted, the steel blade is improperly filled with paper, that is, the pressure is not compensated, resulting in uncomfortable die-cutting pressure, and the cutting edge is not smooth or fluffy. Therefore, the pressure at the edge of the steel blade must be mastered. It is better to cut off the scrap as small as possible. Should re-adjust the die-cutting pressure and replace the pad so that the pressure meets the die-cutting requirements. For steel blades that have been deformed and dulled, they should be replaced in time to ensure that the edge of the product is clean and smooth.
The presence of knife marks on the imprinting plate causes a rough edge on the die-cut line of the product. If the stamping plate is used for a long time, there are dense tool marks, and it is easy to make the edge of the product die cutting line appear rough. This should be replaced with a new imprinting plate in order to eliminate the roughening of the edge of the product die-cutting line.
Repeated patching of the embossed plate results in rough edges on the die-cut lines of the product. When the surface of the platen is repeatedly patched with a piece of paper to increase the pressure, the unevenness and flatness of the surface are caused, and the edge of the die cutting line of the product is also roughened. In order to avoid the occurrence of the above situation, the new cutting blade should be replaced with the local edge wear of the steel blade to avoid the use of paper blocks on the platen to repeatedly compensate the partial marks resulting in insufficient pressure and ensure that the edge of the product is clean and smooth. .
Rubber strips are too hard and thick to cause cutting edge deformation of die steel blades. The matching and installation of die cutters and elastic rubber strips (or sponges) is not standardized, and it can also cause rough edges on die cutting lines. If the rubber strip is too thick or too thick, the combined pressure will inevitably produce a strong compressive force on the edge of the steel blade, which can easily deform the edge of the steel blade and cause the appearance of rough edges on the die cutting line of the product. The rubber should be selected appropriately. Article, and reduce the thickness of the rubber strip as appropriate, if the elastic strip (or sponge) is too soft, there is not enough hardness to press the paper, resulting in the cutting knife can not cut the print, so different for different paper should be used The hardness of the elastic strip (or sponge), placement and height must also meet the specifications.
