UV light radiation has similar physical properties to visible light and has linearity, but its penetrating power is far lower than that of visible light. a. The UV lamp generates a large amount of IR radiant heat while generating UV. This radiant heat is beneficial for workpieces with low temperature effect. Generally, water cooling, reflection, and crossover filtering are used to solve this problem, but at the cost of losing some of the UV power.
